Race, religion, and politics. Three things we that as people struggle with discussing and when we do, everything becomes very opinionated. Hip Hop however becomes a voice for artist's to present these issues to the world in a way the media won't. Witty Barz took the stand for the rights of people this week, specifically for African Americans as he released "They Never Cared About Us".

The track references the recent cases of Eric Garner and Mike Brown that resulted in innocent suspects, once again.

When speaking with Witty, he mentioned how hip hop has become a platform to address these issues in a positive way. This has driven Witty as an artist to make a change. Witty discusses what we have to do as a generation to make that change in his new mixtape The Demonstration 2.

Witty: "To do better we gotta see better to see better we gotta be better! Be the Demonstration."

When listening to the new mixtape that was released last month on bandcamp.com, it's no secret how driven and hungry Witty Barz has become. Witty doesn't focus necessarily on just "changing the world". He as an artist can rap, has depth and understands that "barz matter", the phrase he continuously uses to make reference to his art.

There are thousands of people in this world that think "they can rap". I'm in no posistion to make make judgement on if someone has the ability too rap or not. However I am someone who studies this game that they call hip hop and by listening to The Demonstration 2, I can offer my opinion that Witty Barz has a talent to be in this music industry. The record "Crownz" is one of my favorite tracks from the mixtape and showcases Witty's abilities to be a successful hip hop artist.
